Our school
We are a dance school specialized in breakdance and hip-hop, active in French-speaking Switzerland. We offer weekly classes open to all ages and levels, in a friendly and passionate atmosphere.

Our mission is to passionately share Hip-Hop culture and the values of breakdance through high-quality, accessible teaching for everyone. We strive to provide a stimulating learning environment where each student can thrive, develop their creativity, build confidence, and grow a strong sense of teamwork, all while staying true to the roots of this culture.

Our core values are passion, respect, and inclusivity. We believe that everyone can dance, regardless of age or level. At The Get Down, everyone has their place. We encourage self-expression, confidence, listening, and solidarity in a supportive and motivating environment.

Since our very beginning, we have been committed to providing high-quality instruction led by passionate and experienced teachers. All of our instructors are deeply involved in the breakdance and Hip-Hop scene, whether through international competitions, artistic performances, or cultural initiatives. Their real-world experience shapes their teaching and allows them to share more than just techniques. They pass on a mindset, a culture, and strong values. Each class is thoughtfully designed to support students of all levels, combining high standards, encouragement, and the pure joy of dancing.
